Boredom

Something I came up with in class... no wonder.

Fighting Boredom

My concentration is shot
can't focus
can't finish.
Take up the fight
raise my fists,
only to be dumbed
down by what
other claim to be
interesting.
My margins are
full, nothing more
to add to my
rendering of the
2079 Robot Wars.
The clock has stopped
its batteries are dead,
I like to imagine that
it has faced the same
fight I am, and it was
frozen. It's spinning spears
marking its death at
half past three.
I'm not far behind.
